MS BUDDIES

A Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis can be scary and confusing.  Having to navigate it alone can be even more isolating.  The Bickell Foundation is helping to ease some of the fear that accompanies a new diagnosis by providing newly diagnosed MS patients with a peer mentor that has experience living with MS through our new MS Buddies program.  This relationship will provide emotional support from someone who truly understands.  Buddies will be assigned to patients based on mutual interests, age, geographic location and preferences.  Buddies will be provided support through the Bickell Foundation including resources and guidance. We are looking for both people interested in both sides of the program.  Email info@bickellfoundation.org to sign up today!

In addition, the MS Buddies program provided grants to individuals living with MS that were impacted by COVID-19.  The foundation was able to assist with mortgage payments, utility bills, groceries, an exercise bike for a woman who was no longer able to travel to the gym, medical bills and vetrinary bills.
